Sittin' Pretty

Olivia is starting to sit up on her own. It doesn't last for very long before she topples over, but we're making sure she gets plenty of practice so she can gain her balance. She is doing pretty well at holding herself up with her arms, but once she's there, she doesn't quite know how to move or what to do next, so she just hangs out. . .
". . .Not really sure. . . how to move. . ."
". . .Guess I will just nap. . ."

Williamsburg for the Weekend

This past weekend, we drove down to Williamsburg to see some of my family. We met my dad, stepmom, sister and grandparents for lunch at Baker's Crust before doing some outlet shopping. Olivia got some snazzy new flip flops and a bathing suit, so she's all ready for the pool to open! We enjoyed my dad's delicious homemade stromboli for dinner and then celebrated Ryan's birthday (just a little belated) with some Cold Stone ice cream cake- YUM. My brother and his girlfriend drove up Sunday morning to join us for breakfast before we all headed over to The Williamsburg Winery for a tour and tasting (and some discounted bottles of wine- score!- courtesy of my stepmom's employee perks!). Before we headed home, we walked around Merchant's Square and down Duke of Gloucester so Olivia could see her very first revolutionary reenactment. :)
